Service Dog Training

A properly trained service dog can significantly improve independence and quality of life for individuals living with disabilities.

Shaylah’s K-9 provides professional support for owner-trained service dog teams, including:

  • Task training development
  • Public access training
  • Advanced obedience
  • Real-world environment training

Service dogs must meet high behavioral standards, and we guide teams through the training process step by step!

For our service dog training, we offer a board and train which lasts anywhere from 3-5 months and teaches your dog obedience, house manners, public manners, and the individual tasks that are specifically required for your needs.

By the end of training, your dog will have proper house and public manners, be crate trained, and able to perform the tasks needed to assist you!

Service dogs can be trained for PTSD, anxiety, and panic attacks, as mobility dogs, as for diabetes and seizure alert, and many other disabilities!

All service dogs trained will fulfill all requirements of The Americans with Disabilities Act.
